Pork ribs was tender, soup was peppery and tasty. Braised pork knuckle was cooked nicely with fragrant soy sauce aroma and the skin was so soft. Great comfort food during rainy day.
Love love their bak kut teh. The portion was big that one dish could be enough for two to share. There’re Myanmar staffs who are friendly and attentive.
Very nice and friendly staff, quick service, great food. Dont have many decorations but it's fine, can see a lot of Hong Kong actors and actresses photos on the wall
The Ba Kut Teh is nice. I like the liver especially. It’s a bit different from other places. The liver taste nice and chewy.
Of cause we also need to have the You Tiao that dips into to soup and eat it.
Free refill of the soup if you need more.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this bak kut teh place, and it has quickly become my top choice. The meat was tender, and the soup struck the perfect balance between clarity and richness. I was particularly impressed with their attention to hygiene – they even placed the chopsticks, spoons, and tea cups in hot water before serving them. Highly recommended.
The best bak kut teh in singapore in my opinion. The soup is very good with a hit of pepper and a lot of garlic. A lot of condiments to order. And the chilli paddy is hot and spicy.
We took a dish of Choi Sum, taste average, a bit too oily. Bak Kut Teh came with a big pork rib, very peppery but you can taste they use real ingredients. You Tiau is too dry and oily. We also took the braised soft bones, quite tasty and decent portion. Overall, it's a bit pricey for the food.
Old school charm. Definitely a long standing brand but there are other better bak kut teh around in Singapore. The main pull to this store is most likely the picture of owner with local and southeast asian celebrities who have dined there ancient years ago including King of Mandapop - Jay Chou. Probably more recognizable by the older generation reminiscing old times but the quality of the bak kut teh is just decent ‘passable’. Meat is quite tender, pepper based broth is alright and seasoned well.
Service is also ‘passable’, neither friendly nor rude but could have been friendlier especially this caters mostly for tourist, there’re no local spotted whenever i went there. Overall it’s very average, so go when it’s convenient and if there’re queue then it’s skippable considering there’re many bak kut teh dining places along the street that is more ‘value for money’
Method of payment is only cash and NETS.
